In reference to my last blog post, I have finally decided I have finished editing my photographs and they are complete! I have added them to the Artwork section, or you can click here to see the whole set and the full description.
The project is part of the bursary I was kindly awarded by Tay Landscape Partnership when I was studying my HNC Countryside & Environmental Management. With this project I aimed to use my art practice to highlight the declines of farmland bird species and the historical habitats of orchards and hedgerows, but also the value of the Tay reed beds.
I’m currently editing some photographs for a project relating to the Carse of Gowrie. For this project I wanted to revisit using paper pulp in my artwork, although for this one I have introduced some clay for added texture contrasts. Some words will accompany each image and at the moment I am narrowing down, editing and pairing up. Watch this space for the final outcome!
